TESTIMONIALS

Here are some stories of how we made a difference

In the summer of 2010, our group had the blessing of having Karen Woods join us in Jamaica. We revisited the vision God had given our then defunct music group New Creation, with its members globally scattered. We had gathered with a view to determining whether we still had a call to minister together.

Karen was very instrumental in helping us recommit to and embrace the calling in our lives as a group and helped us understand the processes to be expected in reforming.

We were especially blessed by her unique ability to combine her ministry as both a Psalmist and a prophet.  Our signature rebirth song “Sing Again”, which she co-wrote with us out of a prophetic word, is a testimony to that fact. Only 2 years later our group was again in Jamaica, this time as one of the participants in the annual Fun in the Son concert series which featured headliners such as Kirk Franklin.

Karen ministered to us not just as a group but also as individuals. Years after our meeting, members of our group still maintain a friendship with Karen and the effect of her ministry remains. New Creation Generation International is the non-profit ministry organization that is the fruit of Karen’s prophetic encouragement to “Sing Again!” We are singing again!

“It has always been our privilege and honor to host Pastor Karen Woods from the Heart of the Matter ministries International in the last few years. Over the years she has ministered to us personally and to our church in a powerful way. She has been a great encourager and motivator to all of us here in Mumbai, India. We have had her minister to us through her messages shared in training for leaders, women’s conference and at the same time through the personal heart to heart counselling. We love our divine connection and friendship that we share with her over the years. May God continue to use her to touch many lives through her ministry in the years ahead”.

“It is without hesitation that I recommend the ministry of Karen Woods. I have known Karen for many years and have seen the Master use her in multiple capacities and anointings…worship, biblical counseling, teaching, leadership training, missionary work, and more. She has excelled also in her personal relationship with Jesus and remained pure and holy in her walk and ministry. Her husband Sylvester is fully behind her calling and endeavors. I am excited about how God is going to use Karen to bless you and send you into your future!”

Love you forever Karen!

Meeting mama K…
it was about 8 years ago I was 16 and pregnant and I was about due. My mom made me go to Hope International because she was in recovery and started going to church. At that time I didn’t really believe in God I was considered an agnostic. Ever since you’ve laid hands on me when I was pregnant I have believed in God.

Karen Woods is a love philanthropist!

God has anointed her to counsel, sing, teach, love, confront, play & pray for his “kids” everywhere.

I admire Karen for the deep trust of her Heavenly Father and her openness to what He is speaking to her and through her.

Karen has been involved with Equipping Ministries International since 1999 when she took her first EMI class, LISTENING FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE.

I remember God taking a lady who had been hurt by the church and putting her in a small group with 3 pastors; their humility was the love letter she needed!

Karen has been teaching, modeling and facilitating our practical healthy relationship skill courses wherever God sends her.

She is gifted at “reading” a situation and speaking powerfully and effectively.

She is a connector, a source of laughter and joy, an exhorter and a leader of leaders.

Where Love and Truth are needed, Karen is a powerful resource.

Karen Woods is a uniquely qualified national, and international, trainer and motivational speaker. Her workshops are so dynamic, each participates leaves with an appreciation of their own self-worth. Karen uses all her tools as a subject matter expert, singer-songwriter, and as a person with a disability (blindness) in her workshops and training. I became acquainted with Karen when I contracted with her to provide team building sessions for our state agency employees. It turned out to be one of the best sessions we offered. I have experienced the power of Karen who is thriving in her “abilities” and recommend you do as well.

Karen Woods is a gifted life coach, counselor, and consultant. I have used her services to train managers, consult with me on understanding different cultures in the marketplace, and counsel my family on communication problems.

Karen’s understanding of relationships enables her to cross cultures and connect with people in powerful ways.

The family counseling work she did with my extended family brought understanding, healing and total reconciliation. It’s impossible to put a price on the value Karen created for us!

Karen Woods is an exceptional resource for businesses, educational systems, and families. I highly recommend her!

I have been known Karen for nine years and we all call her “Mama K” because she is like a spiritual mom and mentor to me. She is amazing and always cares about people wholeheartedly. I first met her when I attended INK (International for God’s kingdom) conference in 2008. I was very touched by her song and her love towards international students.

Later I came to EMI classes where she was the facilitator in my group, and from there I had a personal relationship with her since 2009. She has always been caring for and loving me during my Ph.D. study at OSU. Getting a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology was a tough journey for me, and I thought about quitting the program for many times. It was Mama K who walked by me, prayed for me and kept saying to me that we could make it. Through her love and encouragement, I became more aware of who God has created me to be. Her passion and commitment to love people from different culture and background inspire me to be open, to love and serve others.

Moreover, her love for God always draws me closer to God. After six years of hard work, I graduated from OSU as a Ph.D. student. Not only that, I met my husband two years ago. Mama K started coaching us in our dating relationship and now in our marriage. We are so grateful and honored to have her in our life as our spiritual mom.
